And for the millionth time! Black Jews exist. Have existed forever. Y’all are out in these street pretending like they don’t. I’ve never heard a non-Black Jew talk about Black Jews. The Jews in the bible were Black. And non-Black Jews have benefited from the oppression of Black Jews and Black people. That is why it’s important to make the distinction that he is both racist and Jewish because Judaism has problems with racism just like Christianity does. Let me say this as someone who grew up in a white, Jewish family: white Jews can be REALLY fucking racist. Similar to the Irish, the way we were eventually considered “white” was by being racist to people of color.

My parents are some of the most casually racist people I know. My mom actually forbade me from dating “Arab” guys when I was younger because they would surely want to kill me. When I was twelve and we were lost in Newark, New Jersey, my mom started freaking out because obviously the black people were going to rape and kill us. My dad has said some pretty racist shit about Asians.

Let’s talk about some other instances of white Jewish racism:

• oh my god the Israeli government. Palestinians aren’t considered human. White people visiting Tel Aviv take photos with the local POC and call it a “safari.” Ethiopian women are forced to get Depo-Provera before immigrating to the country. Literal shit is poured into Palestinians’ water supply. Occupation, basically. I could go on and on.
• Sascha Baron Cohen’s The Dictator
• Eli Roth’s plan to basically remake Cannibal Holocaust
• A scene from Mel Brooks’ Blazing Saddles where Mel is in brownface and a Native warbonnet and speaking in Yiddish. This is supposed to be a punchline.

Studies found that white men were the ones who overwhelmingly had weapons while Black and Latino men didn’t
• White people blaming and convicting Black men for crimes they never committed and everyone believing them because of racism
• Stop and Frisk, ruled unconstitutional was practiced by New York police disproportionately and unfairly affecting 90% Black and Latino men because of racism
• Universities throwing racist ‘Fiesta Party’ homogenizing culture with extreme racism
• Here are some of the numbers on hate crimes against People of Color and btw, Neo Naziism is increasing!
• Every 28 Hours an African American is Extrajudicially Murdered in the U.S.
• Black people 3 times more likely to be arrested for Marijuana
• Black people receive much harsher sentencing than white people for the same crimes do I need to go on?
