Yes and no. Heteroromantic asexuals are “straight-passing” and get that privilege, for sure, but all asexuals are still GSM—Gender/Sexual Minorities, which is seriously a better and more inclusive term for the entire community that isn’t cis/het. We asexuals as a whole are more affected by rape culture than heterosexism, though many of us are affected by both.
